I was born in the Philippines, just I've been a Cali girl since I was a wee lass of year ane year one-time. In that time, I've traveled all across this state from top to bottom, from the mountains to the valleys and up and down the coast (This is starting to sound a little like a folk vocal, isn't it?).
Anyhow, when you spend a lot of time in a place, certain colors start to remind y'all of it, which is what Chanel Horizon Line Le Vernis does for me. My, gosh! It's the exact aforementioned grayish dark-green you see all over the beaches from the fundamental coast/Big Sur upwardly to the Oregon border.
I encounter it in the greenish algae- and seaweed-covered rocks, in the water, in the plants (especially the succulents that encompass, like, every other sand dune). Information technology's everywhere! And it'due south spot on.
Horizon Line is from the Chanel Travel Diary Fall Collection, which is out right meow, and my friends at Chanel HQ tell me that it was inspired by a road trip that Chanel Creative Director Lucia Pica took from Los Angeles to Big Sur. Like a mermaid from the sea, Horizon Line emerged from that trip.
And I'yard glad it did, considering I've got a matter for greenish grays, human! (Hullo, Essie Beauty Nap and Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist.)
I'grand a sucker for delicious grayish greens on fingers and toes. It'southward similar, they're edgy, merely they aren't obnoxious… I don't know if that makes any sense, LOL! I hope it does.

Oh, yeah, and so you get the great Chanel Le Vernis formula, which, oh, my gosh, is fifty-fifty better than it was before Chanel converted it into a gel formula this past year.
Information technology dries pretty rapidly, for one (completely dry out inside an 60 minutes as long as you seal information technology with a gel top coat), and it lasts, likewise. I'k still testing Horizon Line for wear, just I'm on 24-hour interval three, and I haven't seen a single scrap. Based on the other Le Vernis shades I've worn recently, I await to get at to the lowest degree six or vii full days before it starts to fall autonomously.
So it'south pretty sturdy, thank goodness, because it is pricey at $28 a bottle.
